We’re well into 2013 and this is my first blog update in quite some time. Christmas and new year both went great (thank you to those who asked) and the recent snow storm in the UK has been quite an experience. Now that the weather has started to improve and we’ve fully moved into our new premises things are beginning to get back to normal. What does this mean though? Well, I’ll tell you.
We’ve moved, a new beginning
With the new premises secured we now have a little bit more room to work in both on the operating and advertising side. On the operating side we have more storage space, which should mean higher stock levels of our popular costumes.
On the advertising and promotional side we now have a room dedicated to photography. This means that we can set shoots up whenever we like and not be restricted by studio availability. We should pump out some more shots of our costumes and show you exactly what we have on offer more often. The newer costumes will also become available more quickly as we can shoot and upload them as soon as they arrive. Yay to us all!
The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses Tickets at Hammersmith Apollo
My partner and I are huge Zelda fans (fine, she’s a much bigger fan than I am) and jumped at the chance to see the Royal Philharmonic orchestra and choir perform the Symphony of the Goddesses on May 23rd. To all of you Zelda fans out there that love the music in the games (old and new) we highly recommend that you check it out. Prices start at £33.50 and go up to £100 for the very best seats. This is the European debut of the performance so expect the tickets to sell out sooner rather than later.
Here’s what you can expect to see and hear if you buy some tickets and go:
You can get hold of some tickets here.
How does this relate to fancy dress exactly? Well, we know many of you cosplayers out there have either done a Zelda/Link cosplay or have it on your to do lists. If any of you would like to be featured on the blog wearing your Zelda cosplay please send me a message here and we’ll get your pictures added.
What’s coming in the next few months?
Good question. I’m looking to produce more cosplay articles as I haven’t done any in a while and hopefully feature some more fantastic cosplayers. There are so many of you to feature and my time is very limited but I’ll do my very best to get to as many of you as is humanly possible.
I also have a bag full of new costumes that are ready to be photographed and uploaded to the website. Once I get a few models sorted I’ll get them shot and made available for you all to get your hands on. Some of them are incredibly cute and I think will fly out of the door once they’re on sale.
That’s all for now. I’ll be back again with an update and hopefully an article or feature piece soon.
